Locate the seam
With the Capsule (end that is spoken into) on your left, locate the seam on the microphone
Open the battery compartment
Grab the microphone with one hand to the left of the seam and the other on the right of the seam. Twist the right side towards you.
Remove old batteries
After fully unscrewing, slide the battery compartment out, lift the plastic battery door, and remove the old batteries.
Install new batteries
Screw battery compartment back on
Power mic on to make sure batteries work
Power the mic on by pressing the red button next to the antenna fin
