This article will give you a complete walkthrough on how to present a MacOS computer within either Loop or Konnect rooms.
Within every Konnect and Loop room's tech booth, we provide a HDMI Port that feeds into all the same equipment used on the weekend (Speakers and projector). This port is a black box with a Life.Church logo on the corner.

To connect to this box and properly utilize the room, you will need a USB-C to HDMI cord, like the image below.

If you do not have a cord like this, you can also use a HDMI cable with a USB-C adapter on the end.
We recommend purchasing a direct HDMI to USB-C cord to properly utilize the room rather than using an HDMI cord with the adapter on the end. It is best practice to have a dedicated cord for these rooms to prevent confusion and allow easy accessibility for whoever is going to be presenting using the room.
If you need to purchase a direct HDMI to USB-C cord, we recommend the Anker HDMI to USB-C 3FT cable.
Once you connect the cord to a computer, the system will automatically switch inputs from the Apple TV to the computer that is connected.
Using the HDMI to USB-C cord, you will plug the HDMI end of the plug (the wider plug) into the port on the black box at the Tech Booth in the back of the room.

From there, you will take the other, smaller end of the cord (USB-C) and plug it into one of the USB-C ports on your computer.

Once everything is plugged in, we will need to configure the computer to correctly display the content to the projector in the room.
On your computer, we will want to set the Screen Mirroring to Extend the display to allow the screen connected to the computer to run in Presenter View.
To do this, click the "Control Center" button on the top-right of the dock.
This will open a menu with a few different options, we will click "Screen Mirroring".

A list of displays will then open, you will want to click on the projector. (It will have a TV Icon and should appear automatically since it is directly connected.) After you click it, you will want to select "Extend this Display" rather than "Mirror this Display".
Image below is an example of how it will look. The name of the projector will be different.

You can click the "Arrange Displays" option to see how the screen is oriented to your computer. A window will appear like below, the larger screen represents the Projector's display. As you can see, it is to the right of the built-in screen, this means that if you need to drag a window to show on the projector, you will drag the window to the right.

Now, we will want to change the sound output to use the room's speakers. This will allow your computer's audio (if you play music or a video) to play through the room instead of your computer's speakers.
To change this, we will need to open the "Control Center" again on the upper right corner of your computer's screen.

Then, click the ">" arrow next to Sound.

This will then open the Sound menu. You will want to select the Projector as the sound output, as this will allow the audio to come through the speakers.

Once you switch the audio over to use the room's speakers, you will lose the ability to adjust the sound from your computer. You will need to use the dials within the room to adjust audio.

For this article, we will be using Microsoft PowerPoint as our example. However, both Google Slides and Canva have very similar presentation modes.
We will also be using a "Baptism Class for Kids" slideshow from a Campus as an example within PowerPoint.
First, open PowerPoint and navigate to the slideshow you will be presenting. Open it and go to the "Slide Show" menu on the top bar.
We will then click "Play from Start", which will begin presenter mode.
Once it loads your presentation into presenter mode, and your computer's screen will have the "Presenter View" with a list of all the slides and control over what is currently being shown.
If PowerPoint does not automatically set your computer's screen to Presenter View and instead is displaying the full slide with the Presenter View on the projector's screen, you will want to click "Swap Displays" on the upper left on the Presenter View screen. You will need to move your cursor over to the projector's screen for this.

Once you have done all of this, the room should look like the image below!

When presenting, the app will often take up your entire screen and not allow you to open up your bottom dock to navigate to a different app. Before you start the presentation, you will want to open whatever app(s) you will need to use during the presentation; from there you can press and hold the [Command] key, then press the [Tab] key, and finally use the Left and Right arrow keys until you are hovering over the app you wish to use.
