Epson Web Walkthrough

Updated on

Did you know every projector at Life.Church can be controlled using a web browser? This article will provide a walkthrough of how to navigate to the desired projector, and how to control it when connected.

Connecting to via web browser

To connect to a projector, open Safari, and look in the bookmark bar for bookmarks for the projectors at your location.

They may show in a (1) folder, or (2) listed separately.

Select the projector that needs to be controlled; this will open the Web Remote.

Powering On/Off

Starting from the top, we have a "Power On" button and "Standby" button.

To turn the Projector on, click "Projector On".

To turn the Projector off, click "Standby".

Selecting a source

Over in the top right corner of the Web Remote, there is a "Source Search" button. When clicked, the projector will start to scan through sources looking for a source that is getting signal. The projector will stop on the first source in the search that is receiving signal.

Next in line on the way down the Web Remote, is the Source Selection section. Here we can click on a source to select it, and make that source the active source for the projector.

In the Auditorium, the correct source is "SDI".

In Loop and Konnect, the correct source is "HDMI".

Except in Fort Smith Auditorium, you'll be using the HDMI input.

A/V mute and volume

The bottom section in the Web Remote is to control Volume, and A/V Mute.

Never adjust the volume buttons on the Epson Web Remote.  It should remain at 0% all the time.

The A/V Mute button acts just like a shutter control. When A/V mute is on it is like engaging a digital shutter, which will completely black out the projectors image until turned off.

There is no quick way to see if the A/V mute is on or off from this window. Use caution if using this during an experience.  The button does not change color when engaged.
