This is the physical installation instructions specific to the diamond pattern.

This article is specific for the dual entry building only at this time.

What building layout are you working in?

Only one below. 

This floorpan has a lower roof on the upstage wall.

Step 1 : Verify Height and determine size

Verify that you are working with a scenic pipe at 18' 4.5" AFF.

The motorized screen box should be 18' 11"

The lights on upstage wall - lowest fixture - is at 18'

Step 2: Rig Chain Hoists

Rig three chain hoists.  One middle and two far offstage (next to side screens)

Hoist rigging photo below. All contents live in the chain bag.

Attach chain directly to pipe and secure before releasing the cheeseburgers currently holding the pipe. 

Lower the pipe via the three hoists. 

Pro Tip - Similar to lifting truss, have a spotter call level anytime the pipe is moving. 

Pro Tip - When touching the chain and moving the pipe, wear gloves. Remove gloves to work on scenic to keep hands clean. 

Step 3: Your scenic size will be 11 diamonds wide by 5.5 diamonds tall.

Important: Wash your hands!

The white chloroplast is not forgiving and your working in a dirty environment already. 

Please be mindful of your hands! 

Note: Use gloves anytime touching the chain.
