Syncing Auditorium Clock with Satellite Signal

Updated on

We use the auditorium clock several times throughout the week to run our satellite locations on the same exact schedule. This means it will be important to update the clock's time to match the time being sent via video over Satellite. On weekends, the video/tech volunteers set the clock both on Saturday and Sunday before the start of services. This article covers how to set the time on the clock at your campus.

If Necessary, Remove the Clock:

If it id necessary, remove the clock from the wall, however most locations have the buttons accessible without removing the clock.

Locate the Four Buttons on the Back of the Clock.

Locate the four buttons on the back of the clock.

Set the Clock

Each time the Up or Down button is pressed, the seconds are reset to zero. Test this by pressing the up or down buttons to see the change.

You will want to adjust the minutes on your clock by timing it with the clock on the satellite as it transitions to the next minute..

Consider asking someone to help you by reading the seconds as they approach the next minute and press up or down to time it correctly.
