If you need to link or unlink two channels, this article is for you.
Channels must be physically next to each other while not viewing a custom layer in order to be paired. Also, channels in the ST IN layer cannot be unlinked.
Start by pressing the Select button on the channel that you would like to pair or unpair.
Touch the CH Job button on the touch screen of your console; this will open up the menu shown below.
Once this menu is open, touch the CH Link button.
The CH Link Mode menu will open, as shown below. This menu shows which parameters are linked for the currently selected channel.
Here, you can see which channels are linked by looking at the channel graph shown above the parameters. Linked channels are lit up, color-coded, and letter coded so that it is easy to tell which channels are linked with what.
To link or unlink the desired channels, simply press the Select (Sel) button on the channels that you want to link at the same time.
Finally, exit to the menu by pressing X in the top right corner of the menu.
