This article will help you understand and guide you through the set up of the Marshall baptism camera. There are only two cables to plug in, as these cameras are small, compact, simple to set up, and easy to use.
Every campus stores their camera in a different spot. We'd recommend just under the stage in the same place you store the cables that it plugs into. Closer to the back wall is preferred, as it helps to avoid damage if something gets pushed under the stage.
Unlock and expand all three legs, and then crank the tripod head as high as it goes.
We don't have a lot of resources dedicated to tripods, so please be gentle with them, and make sure they get locked down after expanding all of the parts.
The most important step is to plug in the two connection cables to the camera.

2. The Power Adapter
Please do not unplug the two connectors on the camera.
The connection points have been set up lower on the tripod for easy access and connection.
The next step is to set up the video switcher/router to receive the signal from the camera. If you've never done this, please get help from another staff member who has experience setting this up. Please do not separate the camera and tripod; they have been zip tied and set up nicely so it looks nice and remains simple to set up and use.
Fold up the tripod and camera after unplugging the two connectors and store them together in a safe place; somewhere free of movement and the possibility of getting stepped on. As previously stated, some locations store them under the stage, but please don't store them in an area where other things are stored and moved often.
Please do not unplug the power coupler pictured; this should be taped together and needs to stay with the tripod.
Please do not unplug the two connectors on the back of the camera either.
